The NBA Summer League has really gained a lot of notoriety in the past few years. The league consists of NBA organizations competing against one another in live games for roughly 4-11 days, depending on which league the teams are in. Teams are usually comprised of rookies, second year players, and unsigned free agents who are looking to make an NBA roster.
There are currently 3 NBA Summer Leagues. They are the Las Vegas Summer League, the Orlando Pro Summer League, and the Utah Jazz Summer League. Las Vegas and Orlando are the 2 primary ones. We be be writing articles about the happenings going on in the leagues and posting those articles to this page.
We aim to provide knowledge to the viewer/reader about players you might not have heard of as well as other news going on in these leagues. The games played in these summer leagues can get very intense as players are trying to make NBA teams. The games are very entertaining to watch as you see players competing very hard throughout the entire game(s).
The following are the days the NBA Summer Leagues will run from:
LAS VEGAS: JULY 8-JULY 18
ORLANDO: JULY 2- JULY 8
UTAH: JULY 4-7
ESPN AND NBATV will provide non-stop coverage of the games.
