CHRIS BOSH TO JOIN CHICAGO AFTER MARCH 1?

CHRIS BOSH

Chris Bosh has had a very difficult 2 years. The All-Star Power Forward hasn’t played much in the last 2 seasons because of blood clots. The Miami Heat organization has refused to clear him to play after failing a physical in September. However, the former Georgia Tech star hasn’t given up hope on resuming his basketball career.

The likely scenario has Miami general manager Pat Riley releasing the big-man. Bosh would then be able to sign with any team. All indications point to the Chicago Bulls as being the front-runners to land the 32-year old. If Bosh is healthy we feel that he would definitely help a team during the 2nd half of the NBA regular season. However, it is more complicated than it seems from the outside.

If the Dallas, Texas native does get released after March 1, he would be ineligible for this years playoffs. It looks to us that the Miami Heat are willing to pay the 27-million dollars owed to the 11-time All-Star next season and let him go. They are in a rebuilding mode. If Bosh ends up in a Bulls uniform for the last 20 games, he could help them off the bench.

In our opinion, Chris Bosh and his health comes first. That is the way everybody should look at life. If he can pass an organization’s physical, we see no reason why Chicago or another team wouldn’t take a chance on him. Miami will be paying his salary. To us, we just want to see Bosh healthy. If he can play basketball and keep living his dream, we believe that would just be a bonus for him. He has already proven to us that he was one very good basketball player.

CARMELO ANTHONY AND PHIL JACKSON DISCUSS FUTURE?

The Knicks star met the general manager Phil Jackson a few days ago. Will Anthony waive his no trade clause and get traded? If you were Phil Jackson, what would you do and ask for in a trade for Anthony?

INGRAM LOOKS TO BE SETTLING IN

The first 30 games of Brandon Ingram’s NBA career wasn’t what he probably expected it to be. The #2 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft struggled adjusting to the NBA game. However, in the last few weeks, the former Duke 1 and done star is showing the promise which made him such a coveted and highly touted prospect.

The 6’9″, 190-pound small forward has started 13 games this year as head coach Luke Walton is slowly acclimating him into the starting lineup. The 19-year old North Carolina native has seen his stats slowly improve each week. On the season, the rookie is averaging 8.4pts, 4.1 reb, and 2.1ast in 28 minutes per game.

Ingram is starting to show off his vast array of offensive moves. He has a beautiful shooting stroke, can post up, and shows the ability to get to the rim. He needs to gain weight in order to handle the physicality of the NBA game. However, Lakers fans are seeing glimpses of his enormous talent and the bright future that he has.

As the Kobe Bryant era is over, Ingram is going to be a major piece of the Lakers rebuild. PG D’Angelo Russell and PF Julius Randle are 2 very talented players. Along with Ingram, the Lakers have the foundation in place to eventually have a threesome of players that will bring the organization into the after Kobe era. All 3 players are 22-years old or younger. It will take a few years but the Lakers seem to be on the right track. We look for Ingram to keep improving on his solid play from the last few weeks.

As a long time Philadelphia 76ers fan, I must say that I am very glad to see a couple of Philly Rookies have made it to the top of the Rookies Report for both Points and Rebounds. It has been a very painful couple of years since AI (Allen Iverson) last graced us with his presence!

There has been quite a bit of talk from local reporters already making their claims that Joel Embiid will be a future Hall of Famer! While I think it is way too early to make these claims, I must admit as a Sixers fan it does make me excited! We just have to continue to trust “The Process”!

      Hello,

While it has been a long couple of years of 76ers fans, they have been playing excellent basketball in the last couple of weeks. It is starting to look like the long rebuilding process is starting to show. Philadelphia has a bunch of young and talented players. They also have 2 potential lottery picks in the loaded 2017 NBA Draft. They are also playing without Ben Simmons this year as he is currently injured. However, it is the play of Joel Embiid that has 76ers fans thinking about the future. Embiid has played unbelievable. It looks like “The Process” was well worth the wait. He is on his way, barring injury, to a phenomenal career. The future is definitely bright for 76ers fans.
