#10 RANKED PLAYER IN COUNTRY (CLASS OF 2016)
STAR RANKING: 5 STARS

WEIGHT: 180 POUNDS

PLAYER SUMMARY: Jackson originally committed to BYU but de-commited in 2014. His loss is the Blue Devil’s gain. Duke has not had consistent guard play this season and is a major reason they dropped out of the top 25 rankings for the first time in 8 years. Jackson should step right in next season and start.
Jackson possesses very good size for the PG position to go with a well-developed frame. He is a terrific athlete who excels in transition and plays above the rim. He has a nice offensive repertoire, which includes a nice little floater. The 17-year old is very difficult to contain when attacking the basket. I believe he has the potential to be a combo guard at Duke due to his scoring potential. Jackson needs to work on getting other teammates involved. He is more of a scoring PG at this stage of his development. This is something he will need to learn as soon as he steps foot on Duke’s campus.
I believe Frank Jackson has excellent potential. He is what Duke has been missing since Tyus Jones left early for the NBA. He is more explosive then Jones, although Jones was a big-time shot-maker. Mike Krzyzewski probably wishes he had Jackson right now. Look for Jackson to make an immediate impact for Duke next season and be one of the top newcomers in the ACC. He has all the tools to be an excellent player.
