PLAYER SUMMARY: LeVert is a talented player who can’t seem to stay healthy. He has fractured his left foot twice in his college career, which has delayed his development.
When healthy, Levert has been a premier player in the Big-Ten Conference. He has nice size for the SG position. He sports a very nice shooting stroke and is an excellent catch and shoot player, which is a skill that translates to the NBA level. He has a lanky body type with long arms, in which he projects to be a good defender at the next level.
LeVert is extremely skinny and I fear his body might not hold up at the NBA level. It is imperative that he adds weight. He already has proven to be injury prone with his foot issues. Is this a fluke injury or a sign of things to come?
If Caris Levert can stay injury free, I believe he can be a solid player in the NBA. I think he can be a factor on a second unit of a team in where he can come into the game, play good defense, and catch-and-shoot. His injury concerns will be a big issue for most NBA teams and this might make him slip down the draft board come draft night.
